Nikon D7000 with 16-85mm lens at 85mm. ISO 800 1/250 sec f5.6. Exposure -1 stop.

The photo above was taken two days ago and shows  a trunk of a tree and branches reflected in water. For optimum performance I would have been better setting the ISO at 400 and using 1/125 second or keeping ISO at 800 and changing the aperture to f8. With this lens at it’s fullest extent of 85mm the image quality is improved when stopped down ie when the aperture is changed from f5.6 to f8. We all make mistakes!  The differences are marginal anyway and would not be apparent on this photo. (I’m limited to 1GB on these blog photos).
